Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer Reactions

On March 20th Netflix dropped the first trailer for season 3 of Stranger Things. After a year-long wait fans were finally able to get their first look at the new season.

Although fans are excited, most still can’t ignore how long they’ve had to wait. Fan, Sam Adamski said, “the wait definitely made me lose some interest in the show, but I’m still excited.”

With new seasons come new characters and settings. In season 3 we will be introduced to three new characters. Robin, played by Maya Hawke, Mayor Kline, played by Cary Elwes, and lastly, Bruce, played by Jake Busey.

Not much is known about these new characters, but fans like Sam can only hope, “that they have good characteristics and are dynamic characters.”

With new characters, we see new relationships bloom. In the trailer, we see Max and Eleven being buddy-buddy with each other which is a complete 360 from where we left off last season. In regards to this friendship, Sam said, “I’m not really sure how it will click. However, I do think it’s nice for Eleven to have a friend that is female. This friendship might change her in some way.”

We also see minor characters getting bigger roles this season. One, in particular, is Erica Sinclair, Lucas’s little sister. Aubry Bakewell said, “I don’t really understand why she needs to be a major character. However, I think she is probably gonna end up fighting alongside the other kids.”

As for new settings, we can see the introduction of two new major points of interest, the Starcourt Mall, and the fair. We won’t know how these locations will further the plot until the actual season is released, but fans like Aubry  can create theories, “I think the mall is going to be where most of the action this season takes place.”

From the trailer alone we can conclude that this season is going to be much different from the previous two. Sam said, “I think all the characters are going to go through changes, and the difference in setting is going to make this season stand out from the others.”
