Robot Easter Egg Hunt

Mrs. Gordan’s period four engineering class recently built robots used them to find hidden Easter eggs during their Easter Egg hunt. What better way to start off the spring holiday season?

While the hunt for the eggs themselves was exciting enough for the class, actually making the robots was a little more of an adventure. “We only had a week to make the robot with alterations, that’s all the time we had,” said senior Keri Bobeck.

Building the robots was successful but driving them on the tough terrain of the gravel and high grass was a challenge. “Normally on level ground it moves better but there wasn’t any traction for it to move on the grass and the gravel,” said senior Matt Nogin.

Overall, Mrs. Gordan’s students were very impressed and satisfied with what they built and got to go home with some fantastic and delicious treats.
