Ciao il mio nome è Miriam Pipino
“Hello my name is Miriam Pipino”.

The Exchange Student Spotlight is now on Miriam Pipino. Miriam is apart of our senior class and a member of our water polo team and swim team. Miriam is currently a resident in Forty Fort.

Q: Where is your hometown?

A:”My home is in Onivasso, a little town near Torin, in the North of Italy”.

Q: Do you play any sports?

A:”I play water polo and I am a member of the swim team”.

Q: How did you get involved in the exchange student program?

A:”My older brother did it six years ago and since then I have always wanted to do it here”.

Q: How old are you and what grade are you in?

A:”I am seventeen and a senior”.

Q: What is the biggest difference between America and Italy?

A:”The food, the schools, in America everything is bigger. There is a strong sense of patriotism here and there is a major emphasis on sports here”.

Q: What is your favorite American food?

A:”Meat, hamburgers and sweets.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about America?

A:”I really like the school and the people here are really kind.”

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

A:”I like to swim, watch films and TV series, go out, listen to music and read.”

Q: What do you like most about the school here?

A:”You can choose your classes, in each class you are with different people, teachers are much more chill, you have your own locker. Also, schools here have sports teams and there are only four years of high school.”
