It is reported that Payne fell from a 3-story balcony, but paramedics have raised concerns about the full extent of his injuries. According to the Daily Mail, “Paramedics and coroners are saying Payne’s 25 injuries couldn’t have happened from just a fall off a balcony.”

Along with the band members mourning Payne’s death, former One Direction member Zayn Malik and his family have expressed their grief. Malik has postponed his tour to take time off to mourn. Malik’s sister, Doniya Malik, posted a video about mental health awareness just two days after Payne’s passing, urging people to be kind to others. 
“People are saying Zayn postponed his tour until next year to cooperate with authorities on what he knows about Payne’s death,” Daily Mail reported.

You never know what a person is truly going through,” and, “Always think before you write cruel comments online.” Additionally, three suspects have been accused in connection with Payne’s death, including a drug dealer, a hotel worker, and an unnamed individual. These three are said to have contributed to Payne’s death. The hotel worker is reported to have supplied Payne with drugs. The Daily Mail stated, “Several reports tonight said the trio had been ‘charged’ with offenses; however, sources familiar with the Argentine judicial system said they had instead been arrested and placed under official suspicion, and had not been formally indicted.”
Liam Payne’s bandmates have posted on Instagram, “In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,” leaving us wondering what will come in the near future.
